Online Booking Failure and the Price Increases

I tried to book a flight with discovery vitality through Kulula. The system rejects me at the paying stage. I try twice. I get no error messages, just a system time out. The third time I try the price has gone up. I call customer service who tell me it is a discovery problem and they cannot help me or tell me when the system will be back on line. And they cannot guarantee a price because it is based on "availability." This is untrue as looking at a flight cost a number of times also increases the price which is what I believed happened in this case.
If there is a problem with the discovery system then the booking system should be informing the customer not making them try to buy the flight numerous times so that they can increase the price.
