My complaints are as follows:
* Aside from the flight being delayed without notification, I am disappointed at the comments that were made by the in flight stewardess regarding Indians.
* The first was made during the pre-flight instructions that we would be flying to* Durban and all*. This was a clear slur at Durban based South African Indians and the manner in which they speak. One might argue that this is all in good humour, I think we have come a long way in our democratic country and whilst freedom of speech is always exercised it should also always be free of comments/prejudice.
* The second comment was made upon landing in Durban where the same person said" Welcome to Durban-the Capital of India". In my honest opinion, comments such as these should definitely be avoided as it is most certainly offensive. This was clearly evident from other Indian passengers on the plane as well.
* In summary our flight on the airline was certainly a terrible experience and will influence any future decisions to fly with the airline again
