We purchased holiday club in the beginning of 2012. We wanted to use these points to go on honeymoon. The consultant, Ian Watson, assured us that it will happen and that he will also help us to choose a destination. We never heard from him again and every time we tried to contact him we could not get old of him. We could not use the points for our honeymoon. We got a newsletter from holiday club on a later stage stating that the points can not be used within the first year. So in fact we were taken for a wild ride by Ian Watson. I emailed the head office of holiday club enquiring about this and their reply was that there was no regional manager by the name Ian Watson on their books. This made us furious. On top of that when we want to book a place at one of the resorts there is never place available. I emailed holiday club again in this regard a few days ago stating that we would like to sell our points. I got a sloppy email back saying member number. I assumed that they were asking for our member number so I send it to them. I would like to get rid of these points as it is not a asset it is a liability and on top of all of that we do not do business with institutions that lie.
