Contract Cancellation Done Correctly First Time

Just wanted to thank Flexi Club for cancelling my contract correctly the first time.

I contacted them to inquire how to cancel my contract early last year and they gave me the procedure: Levies up to date, must do a written request to the board before end May etc. I submitted my letter on time but did not get any reply. I followed up a few days later and they did confirm that they received my letter and that it will be presented to the board / trustees at the next meeting.

I never heard back from them after that, but I did not get the normal levy statement in September / October so I assumed that my request was accepted. I followed up today and was informed by Lorna that my cancellation request was accepted in June 2013 already and that I was informed via fax (which I did not receive, but then we have a shared fax in the office - it could have gone missing our side).

Lorna then confirmed that it does take some time to cancel everything, but as from 31 December 2013 my contract is effectively cancelled.

For all others that want to cancel, just follow their instructions and make sure to follow up to confirm that they have received your cancellation request.
