I booked accommodation for a friend's wedding over the Olive Festival in Riebeecks Kasteel (May 2014). I sent a request and we were told that the place is available. We payed our deposit and we were sent a confirmation of booking. Now, a month later we're notified that the accommodation isn't available anymore.
We've already booked our plane tickets and we can't find other accommodation in Riebeeck's Kasteel over that time because of the festival! How does this happen? How do they allow establishments onto their site that cancel on you a month after your booking? Surely they must have a policy against that? The establishment is the Tin House in Riebeeck's Kasteell btw.
