My fiance and I were approached on the street and invited to speak to a consultant about joining Holiday Access, we informed him that we do not go on holidays but we were planning to go away to Tiffendale Ski Resort for our honeymoon and it would be costing us about R 12 000 - R 15 000, he assured me that they were included in their network of resorts and it would only cost us about R 6000 to join. This was the only reason for us joining as we could use the membership for our honeymoon in 2 years, I have since been informed that Tiffendale is not part of Holiday access and we cannot use our points for our honeymoon. I asked the consultant to show me in his book that lists the resorts but he said his book did not have all the resorts but I could look it up on their website. Your consultant has clearly taken advantage of a newly engaged couple by lying to them and selling them something that we cannot use. I have not used any points and want my membership cancelled and deposit refunded. The only response Ive received is that they will look into it and I have continued to be debited for this useless membership.
