BUS CANCELLED WITHOUT BEING NOTIFIED

DURING THE DECEMBER HOLIDAYS, TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR WE BOUGHT A RETURN TICKET ON THE ROADLINK TO HARRISMITH. THE RETURN DATE WAS DECEMBER THE 31ST AT 00H55. I WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN FROM MY LITTLE SISTER THAT ROADLINK BUS NEVER CAME AT THE BUS STATION TO TAKE PEOPLE LEAVING HARRISMITH TO BLOEMFONTEIN, THE SAD PART IS THAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT A YOUNG GIRL LEFT THERE TO WAIT FOR A BUS THAT NEVER CAME AND NO ONE FROM ROADLINK HAD THE COURTESY TO PHONE US TO LET US KNOW THAT THE BUS HAD BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE DAY. WE HAD TO PHONE ROADLINK, AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT SHE HAD TO TAKE A BUS FROM HARRISMITH TO JHB FROM JHB TO BLOEMFONTEIN AND THEY DON'T KNOW THE REASON AS TO WHY THE BUS WAS CANCELLED. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS ROADLINK OFFERING, PUTTING THE LIVES OF ITS PASSANGERS IN DANGER LIKE THAT. I HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER BUS, GREYHOUND IN THIS CASE WHICH DOESN'T EVEN TRAVEL ANYWHERE NEAR HARRISMITH AND HAD TO ORGANISE TRANSPORT AGAIN FOR HER TO GO TO BETHLEHEMM SO SHE COULD GET A BUS TO BLOEMFONTEIN. THAT'S AN ADDITIONAL COST THAT I HAD TO PAY.TO THIS DAY WE HAVEN'T BEEN REFUNDED INSTEAD WE ARE TOLD THAT WE HAVE TO WAIT 4 WEEKS BEFORE WE CAN GET THE REFUND.VERY ANGRY & INCONVEN
