Unfair treatment

I purchased bus tickets for 2 adults with city to city bus liner from Durban to Johannesburg for the morning of the 24/12/2013 at 8:30 am. I missed the bus by 10 minutes, which I take full responsibility for even though it was under unforeseen circumstances as my meter cab was in an accident. I was told by the a teller that the 8:45 am bus is full, and 2 minutes before the bus leaves, were told by someone else that there are still seats available and we will have to pay full price with no possibility of a refund .we boarded the bus and got to the Pietermaritzburg bus stop, where a lady and her child had missed the bus and they were let on the bus free of charge while we had to pay the full amount which is totally unfair after being made a spectacle of at the Durban station, if this is policy then it needs to be reviewed. The bus was late because the driver was constantly on his phone with 60 passengers on board. This is the worst service I have gotten with this bus liner.
