A Very, very bad experience
We booked our flights from Dammam to Johannesburg in September for 19 December 2013. In November we were told i flight was cancelled and we are now flying on 20 December at 03h00. Our flight finally left at 05h00 after a couple sat down on our seats and refuse to move. Me and my Husband had to sit in separate seats. In Addis we had to get off the plain straight on to our connection flight to South Africa. We had to board with hand written boarding passes. Again we had to sit in deferent seats. 22D and 47E. On arrival in South Africa our luggage did not turn up and we were told that is was never loaded from Dammam. We only had 1 piece each. We were told it will come the next day and be delivered to us. On the form they gave us it is mentioned that if you did not get your luggage in two days you can claim compensation. I called today and told the guy we will claim compensation but he said that I am not entitled to compensation because I am a South African. Still no luggage. I am working in Saudi Arabia for 11 years. I dont have a house in SA. I am staying with a friend with not even extra underwear. We had to go and buy some. I paid the same price then everybody else.
