I went to buy tickets at Greyhound Park Station on 12 Dec 2013 at 13:45. Upon arrival, i enquired about the tickets for a Greyhound bus travelling from Johannesburg to Bulawayo on 01 February 2014. The lady at the counter informed me that the ticket costs R700 per person. I could not believe this as i was aware of the Greyhound ticket prices. I asked her if she did check the correct bus & date of travel. She insisted that the ticket will cost R700
I then made a booking through the Greyhound call center & was told that the ticket costs R415. I went back to ParkStation to collect the booked tickets. On arrival i was attended by the same lady who had told me that the ticket costs R700. I asked her why she gave me a wrong ticket price and her response was that the price she gave me was correct. I then told her that a Call Center operator informed me that the ticket price is R415, her response was "SO WHAT, WHY DIDN'T YOU THEN BOOK WITH THE CALL CENTER". I responded by saying that she had wasted my time as i had to go to my office to make a Call Centre booking & queue again in order to collect the tickets. Her response was "YOU ARE CRAZY". Really is this how you treat your Customers???
