SAA delivers poor services again

My flight was booked for 16:55 today, 24/11/13, to Richards Bay. Boarding was to start at 16:25, I was only able to pass security at 16:35 and arrived at the boarding gates at 16:40. The gates where closed, upon request I was informed the flight had departed, this was at 16:45. According to the boarding attended, boarding started at 16:05, and I was removed from the flight list at 16:41 according to the system. This was the reason given to me for the early departure. My luggage was handed in at 16:05. No announcement was made thereof and no names were called. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional. Thereafter, I collected my luggage only to find my suitcase, bought only today, was damaged. This is the 2nd incident in approximately 4 months. Again, no one could take responsibility. I was made to pay an amount of R170.00 difference to rebook a flight after it being made clear to me that I am at fault for "being late". Initially I was expected to pay the full amount for a new booking. I find both the treatment and the service I received unacceptable. After hearing several complaints about SAA, I am sad to say, I too am displeased.
