ABSA Rewards Travel Service Not Responding

On our trip to the USA, we experienced ticket problems and expenses due to booking errors.

1. The Delta flight, booked as a compromise for the incorrect departure city on the previous ticket, did not include a baggage allowance. We had to pay for our check-in luggage ($25 a piece).

2. The hotel that we were booked into was not at the airport. The "free" shuttle service only started at 5 am and our flight was at 6 am. We had to pay for a taxi to come at 4:20 am. This cost us $30.

3. When departing Orlando, my ticket reservation could not be found. We missed the 6 am flight! We were also not able to board the 7 am flight because SAA only opened at 8 am. We had to spend another day in Orlando! I have a list of expenses.

4. Since we missed the connecting SAA flight, we had to pay extra for the connecting flight. I have a list of expenses amounting to over R 4000!

5. Purchasing another flight caused problems as 1 boarding pass wouldn't print. We spent more than 20 min in New York at the SAA counter to have get it fixed. SAA had to print a dummy boarding pass as my child was booked under my maiden surname.

ABSA Rewards has stopped responding to our emails.
