Greyhound
Stranded passenger at border without reason

Cililiner (Greyhound) bus stranded a foreign traveller at the Moz/SA border for no reason. They simply drove off while he was at customs, his luggage on the bus. I contacted the call centre expecting action to get their passenger safely to MPM. No effort was made to fix the situation & he was forced to pay to hitchhike (dangerous). I called repeatedly (they put you on hold for ages hoping you will give up). I asked to speak to a supervisor who just. This last month I've tried to get resolution on this to no avail. What couldve been resolved easily has now escalated. I finally received an email claiming they followed procedure incl. phoning him & me (they didnt) & supposedly contacting National Tracking Centre (but are unwilling to give me the ref no. as proof). Still nothing until I contacted a manager. Even though I have received a measly refund for half the ticket, Greyhound is unwilling to compensate for what he paid to get himself to MPM. They demand receipts. He paid a stranger for a ride, how could he get a receipt? They accept no responsibility & expect me to claim from the border? I am disgusted. I don't recommend them, esp travellers. Its not worth it. Ref: GC060/10/13
