I booked to fly to Cape Town on Sat 26 Oct 2013. Being a Voyager member for years I booked through SAA my first port of call. The only seats available being the Currie Cup final came to a total of R3149
The morning I check online after my employer tells me I hope you booked Mango and I said yes, I saw the carrier was Mango. To make sure I went online and checked their prices - they have plenty seats, but the price difference is HUGE. Mango's price came to R1814, the same time, plane everything. So I start phoning. First spoke to Marion Singh, not helpful at all. Asked for manager, after ages I got told the Vee Zondi is to busy to speak to me. Got told to phone Mango, they the only one that could help me. So I phone, speak to Gideon Chen, very helpful but said they have this problem with SAA all the time, the Manager - Kevin, very helpful, but he couldn't make changes to it, said best was to speak to their SAA Manager. This time I actually managed to do that but Raymond Watts was polite, but could not refund me or change it to the Mango price. He would refund 50% of my ticket but that is no solution at al. PLEASE HELP ME!
BEWARE OF SAA - the extra charge is for food?? Its not right!
