What medical help is available?

Dear Airports Company,

On Friday I used OT airport facilities in Johannesburg.

Some time after midday as I was walking to the departure desks, I began to feel unwell. The good news was that I saw plenty of police. So I made my way to two of them and then I collapsed.

They looked confused. I asked them to phone for help. They had no telephones.

I asked them to get help. They did not how to do so. They suggested that I try and find help elsewhere. Since I could hardly walk, and was sweating profusely, I was not sure how to find more help.

I took a lift to another floor and at the entrance found a policewoman. She had no telephone. She had no idea what protocols were. She did not know how to get emergency help.

Please set my mind at rest

Do you have an emergency plan? Is that plan available to police?

Are there a list of emergency numbers at these booths?

Had I collapsed in a heap on the concourse, who is supposed to do what?
