8 March - Booked a flight from JNB to PLZ (return 7 October 2013 at 09:20)
6 October- I tried to check into my return flight which was scheduled to depart at 09:20 am on 7 October
I then saw my ticket had changed to 18:55 flight that evening, we phoned SAA to find out what was going on and to confirm if our flight was 09:20 or 18:55. We spoke to agent Lesogo Mosadi who informed us that we were confirmed to fly at 18:55.
On the morning of 7 October I tried to check in again and received a ticketing error. When I called SAA I spoke to agent Avule Mbangula who then told me the flight was changed however we have never paid the difference in fee.
Firstly - if the flight was changed why was no email confirmation sent prior to 6 October?
I had to pay R500 per ticket x 2 = R1000 before they would confirm my flight.
1. I did not request changes - and if I had surely it would have been deducted off the card the original booking was made??
2. How do you change someone's flight without notifying them?
I would like a full refund of the R1000 that I had to pay in to get myself and my partner home and the stress inconvenience it caused. This is unethical behaviou
