I booked SA Roadlink frm JHB to PE to travel with my 5 year old. We arrived Fri 20 Sept 2013 at train station for a 16.30 departure & had to sit around on the floor (no seats anywhere) for over 2 hours, cos the bus is still coming from Pretoria. We eventually departed, & they played 3 movies back to back, with the volume down low, until halfway thru movie 3 - close to midnight, & then cranked UP the volume. Everytime they had a stop, they banged on all lights in the bus, & the ride was horrid.
Enter return trip PE to Jhb-we arrive at departure point at Greenacres for a 5pm departure. The bus is in the carpark, I go to enquire if all is in order, & am told they are running a few mins late. Eventuallly driver comes out, boards the bus & drives off TO COLLECT PASSENGERS FROM ANOTHER POINT. he agrees with me that this is RUBBISH. we sit in carpark which doubles as a toilet cos their loo is broken, in gale force winds, finally get collected, sit at a fuel station in PE for 55 mins, & leave Uitenhage at 20.20. there is no sound on movies, the rooftop emergency exit is broken so is belted shut & loo almost slopping over. heater on & boiling us alive. windows kept firmly shut. no-one cared
