I had a connecting flight from Durban to Johannesburg, flying to Beira Mozambique for business.
i had checked in my luggage with SAA, connecting to Lam Air flying to Beira. upon arriving in Beira, I did not receive my luggage and i had to lay a cliam to track what had happened to my bag. I then had to go out get new cloths and cosmetics so that i could carry on for the rest of the week without my luggage. This is all unnecessary additional costs which i had not planned for. Now more then a week later, I am still battling to get any proper feedback on my luggage or getting paid out for luggage and unnecessary expenses. I have called 4 times and each time i get the same message that someone will call me back, but nothing.
This is absolutely ridiculous, and most unacceptable from such a large corporate, i have to fight just to get my own back, when this wasnt even my fault. i am terribly disappointed and disgusted with the service i have received. i want all my luggage replaced and my expenses paid for. This was not a fault on my behalf and i want the airlines to take full responsibility and correct their wrongs, its the least they can do for putting through all the drama.
