Laptop item damaged while in transit

I flew from CT to ORT on 4 September on flight 104.I get to airport early and pass security check at least 1 hour before time. I the stand in line to make sure I am in the plane early so that I can utilise my overhead luggage for cabin bag and laptop bag. I take out the laptop and keep with me to work while flying. I also have my kindle reader in my laptop bag. Under no pressure since I am early and the relaxed. I see the late comers rushing onto the plane looking for place on the overhead compartment that is already full. They proceed to force push their bags where they can. The poor cabin crew ladies can only stop a few offenders at a time to offer assistance. Sadly for me, someone had also stuffed a bag squashing my laptop bag and damaging the bag and contents. This I only noticed when taking out laptop bag and ready to disembark. I got home that evening and tried to open the side zipper to find it was damaged. I forced open the zipper and removed the kindle to use before sleeping. Sadly the screen was cracked. Bear in mind that the kindle is in an original R600 Leather cover. I need the screen fixed asap. How do I claim from Kulula. I have both the boarding passes on hand. Please assist me. SAD
