Recently MDC lured us to a presentation. They promised us a free weekend's stay at Monateng safari lodge if we would just listen to their presentation. After the presentation, they escorted us to a hall and each person who attended were assigned to a sales rep. Firstly he didn't get to the point of what would a membership cost, he kept making me quiet so that I would have to listen at his unrealistic statistics on the thousands of rands I would be spending if not a member of the club. Then he asked how are we going to pay for it, we said that we need some time to discuss and decide if it is worh it, he then said he needs an answer immediately otherwise we forfeit on the deal. I asked how would he like for us to pay, he said he takes cash and when I told him I don't carry that kind of cash around, he said he would take my Ford ranger. We excused ourselves and left without singning anything. We never got our weekend for just listening to the presentation and today another agent called me again for a free 5 day stay if I would just sit in on the presentation. No family or friend recommended us. I believe they get our detail from either Junkmail, olx or gumtree adverts. Deceitful
