Last week I enquired about a Mauritius package for our honeymoon in December.
I contacted one of the travel agents who emailed me the details pertaining to the package.
I ensured that she confirmed the amount as well as what would be included in the deal.
Not once, but twice.

After looking at various packages and discussing the deal, dates etc with my fiance? I asked that Stephanie confirm the booking with the hotel and send me the invoice for payment. Later she responded that in error she had quoted incorrectly, she had mixed the dates up. You can just imagine when you are told that your holiday will now cost an additional R5000 for departing less than a week later.

I emailed the "urgent enquiry" department thereafter and have still not received a reply from them?

I contacted her team leader Ramona, who replied saying that it was a human error and that I should understand that this trip is over their peak period. There is nothing they can do to assist me unless I flew out on the day of my wedding!! No discount or revised pricing was offered, nor were any other alternatives suggested!!

Is this service? Hardly!
