British Airways Comair
Humiliating passengers and being inflexible

Yesterday My wife and I left from King Shaka International airport heading for OR Tambo International at 16:10 on BA 6281
When we attempted to check in 1 bag between us weighing 26 kg's at the 'Bag Drop" counter, we were told by the inflexible unreasonable and superioristic Ms. Zulu that we either have to pay a fine for 3 kg's or remove 3kg's.
we were at a loss for words because of the following:

a) we are travelling together with 1 bag - that equates to 13kg's each which is way below the allowable maximum of 23kg's each per person,
b) that same bag was checked in at OR Tambo on Friday 19th and was allowed there - Ms. Zulu wanted to hear nothing of my reasons and simply handed us 2 x plastic bags to remove 3kg's worth of clothing. = this was embarrassing and humiliating to have to unpack our bag right there in front of the counter in full view of the other passengers while Ms. Zulu seemed to be enjoying abusing the power she had and of shunting us around.
I did not enjoy being treated that way. It put an unnecessary cold damp ending to what was up to that point a lovely weekend getaway to Durban.
If at all possible, I wont be using BA again.
