Bad Attitude, Service and Food

My family and I flew back from Mauritius on Saturday night (06/07) and I have to comment on the bad and surly attitudes of the air hostesses as well as the very very bad food served.

When I tried to speak to the hostesses I was ignored, and when I queried what was served for lunch I was rudely told it was dinner!! They came around offering drinks and when I asked for the same beverage I had previously I was told, in an exasperated voice that it was finished, like I was supposed to smell that? I mean why not have enough on the plane for the whole flight when you know its a popular drink?

Never mind that the food was disgusting, I had chicken and rice, but it was more burnt dry rice and onions and hide and seek chicken, my son would not even touch his food, it was that disgusting. BA, I would suggest you change caterers (try SAA's, they make much better food) and educate your air hostesses that being downright rude and unpleasant is NOT the way to get return patronage!

Though, I must commend you for your staff on the Mauritian side, lovely ladies with a ready smile, one can see when you get back to SA because the whole SA's attitude of bad service was quite clear!
