Bad attitude and not willing to go the extra mile!

We booked in at the Kulula desk early Friday morning at 5:30am. Just to also mention that my wife are 30 weeks pregnant and we have a 22months old todler with us. We just came back from the USA, and just want to get to our home by now. As we weighted our suitcases, the one was 12kg, one 23 kg and the 3rd one 22kg. We are flying on regular basis, and sort of know all the limits by now. Only problem is that it seems that they change it EVERY month, as this were to heavy according to Lee-Ann. I know for a fact they allow a few kilos more than 20kg, and NEVER had a problem if our bags are 23/24kg's. But according to Lee-Ann this changed 1 Junie 2013... Strange, because this were our 3rd flight in June 2013, and also the first issue.. We had to pack some of our lauggage over to other bags, and still were overweigth but now it was OK. How does this work? I would like an explanation on this, and also what to do to get notifications in future about changes, as this is one of a few changes that no one knew about.
