I am so disgusted with Translux. I booked a ticket at the above-mentioned branch on Friday 21/06/2013 for my 17 year old son from Bellville to Bloemfontein. The booking was for Sunday 23/06/2013 at 10:10am.
My son is in a hostel in Cape Town and the school's driver did not pitch. I went back to the above-mentioned branch at about 10:25am to hear what I can do regarding this as my son must be in Bloemfontein on Monday 24/06/2013. The guy there just told me I must book another ticket and I have to pay the full price of R 530.00 again.
According to my knowledge they were suppose to penalize me, but really come on now, the full amount? I mean the ticket was booked in PE, and it's from Bellville to Bloemfontein. The amount R 530.00 may not seem like a lot of money to them, but for me it is, as I'm the sole breadwinner working towards a better future for my children.
My son travel from Bellville to PE every school holiday & also to other cities from time to time. Earlier this year, the same thing happened with the driver, but I booked with Intercape, hey gladly assisted me & I only had to pay in an extra R 80.00 and I did not mind to do that.
