At the national departures baggage check I walked through the security scanner and there was no beeping sound to indicate that I had anything dangerous/illegal on me. However the security lady (name badge Soni N) pulled me aside and started conducting a body search and started touching me indecently, even to the point of touching my private parts. I asked her why she was doing this and she rudely replied that I should go and complain to the management and that I should just spread my legs. I feel seriously violated and disgusted at this kind of search being conducted on me without reason. I went on to the manager to lay my complaint and she said this is airport security procedure. She said if i felt violated I shouldve requested to be searched with a manual handheld scanner, which was not an option i had been given. Ive never been harassed at an airport and truly do not understand why this kind of search had to take place. I feel violated.
