NO HELP, NO REFUND

My husband and I booked with mango, a return flight from PE to JHB but because of a medical emergency, we could not make the return flight We phoned two days in advance to cancel our flight and sent them a doctors letter. When we needed to get home they had only one flight that day and we missed it, my husband still being ill needed to get home. We were asked by the staff at the airport whether we wanted a refund or a voucher. our reply was that we needed a refund so that we could book with another airline in order for us to get home. We still said if they can only do a voucher we would stay over night and use the voucher for the flight home the next day. But they promised us a refund...(this was a sunday, they could only do the refund on the monday) So we booked with another airline and went home. The next day i phoned, they had every reason why they do not give refunds. only voucher!!! And not for the full amount) It took hours of phone time to sort things out and i got nowhere.
They would simply transfer me to someone and i have to explain the story then they would transfer me again and again... Got nowhere! WILL NEVER SUPPORT THEM AGAIN!!! ID RATHER PAY MORE! NEVER!
