My wife and myself were horrified with the blatant lack of empathy and customer service shown by Larry Tlhako who is supposedly the person responsible at OR Tambo for sorting out seating on flights. We were told when we departed Durban that we had been pre-booked with a window seat which is what we required when traveling with our 3 month old. Unfortunately when we checked in at OR Tambo today we were seated on an aisle, the lady behind the counter agreed it was strange as infants are usually given priory for windows seats. Needless to say Mr. Tlhako arrived and was rude and unwilling to try move us to a window even with the potential safety risks and would not sign his name when I asked him to sign under an account of the event and when I said I wanted to take his picture he threatened to remove us from the flight!! This was a disgusting display of abuse of power and arrogance and we were left very upset. In a day and age of many options I think our has just been made easier in terms of who to fly with next.
