My husband and a colleague travelled flew from Lanseria airport on Tuesday 14 May 2013, both arrived in separate vehicles at the same time ( - 5am) my husband parked in the long term parking, whilst his colleague parked in the regular parking! I must mention that the long term parking is quite a distance from the terminal as opposed to the short term parking. It is my understanding that long term parking should be cheaper for extended periods of time away. On return on Thursday 16 May at 16H30 they both went to pay and the long term parking bill was R285 versus R240 for the regular parking area. My husband went to query this and was told that in theory you would only start saving after. My husband asked where the signage was to inform passengers and he was just smiled at? I know question the amount we paid when we flew to CT from Lanseria and we were away for 4 days R330 should we have rather parked in the regular parking and saved a
bit of money? The moral of the story don't park in long term parking Lanseria, as it is less convenient and more expensive! WE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY LANSERIA PARKING!!!
