I regularly check the MDC website for availability of units/time share. Recently I was checking the Limpopo region. I found that there were some 18 units available at Ekuthuleni. My wife and I decided to take a ride to Ekuthuleni and check out the resort & establish which units we would prefer. On Friday 26 April we rode (on BMW R1200 GS) via Lydenburg (very bad potholes, this is a dangerous road to travel on) some 450 kilometers to check out Ekuthuleni. We arrived around 12:10 & had a discussion with Ernest the security guard at the entrance gate. We asked if we could go to reception as we wanted to check out the resort and establish which units we would prefer. Ernest refused to let us in stating that no day visitors are allowed, but we are not wanting to stay for the day. He said if he let us in he would lose his job. We said we wanted to speak to the manager (Johan Kruger) or some responsible person. The reply was that no one was available. Not too sure as to how true this was or were they told to tell that no one was available. We are Customers wanting to spend money & stay at the resort. If this is a reflection on managements attitude to potential Customers, then bye bye.
