8ta Misleads their customers. They have a big sign that says 95c per minute (per second billing) and "recharge with R 5 get R 5 free". When they deduct money from your account - they deduct R 1.90 per minute instead of R 0.95. Their reason is the effective rate that we getting is R 0.95 per minute.
Then why users into believing that they are getting calls at R 0.95 per minute as well as free airtime?
Utter non-sense.
Please be weary of 8ta. As soon as the month is finished - I'm cancelling both my 8ta services due to 8ta misleading people.
Cell C is the best option for prepaid so far. They are straight to the point.
