First I do want to say thank you tp Tshepo for his help in sorting out my previous problem.
However, I move to Prepaid and got put on 'per second' billing, which I thought was the 'for real 99c' billing.
After realising that i was being charged too much for my phone calls, I dialled *147# to change my billing rate.
Again, not knowing that 'pers second' billing is not 'For real 99c' biliing, I press the the keys to change my billing rate. However, I put in 'per second billing' and basically never changed any rate.
When I realised this morning that I was still paying a high call charge, I called Customer Service who then told me the diference, and that I was on 'per second' billing, which is R2.85 per minute. But now to change it to 'For real 99c' billing I would be charged R5 for the change.
I realise it was my mistake, but how do you have a billing rate called 'per second' when its charging you R2.85 per minute.
I believe that Cell C should refund my R5 and not only that should credit me for all my calls. As when I took out the prepaid I asked them if it was on 99c per second and was told 'yes'.
