I live and work in the JHB area. I've been having trouble with my phone/network since late last year. Similar to the complaint below, calls go dead (I can hear the other person but they can't hear me) about 10 seconds into a conversation, I hear funny noises when making outgoing or receiving calls... It's terrible that I have to pay for a service that I'm not getting any joy from. The worst part is that I called the customer service and the consultant told me that there's nothing she could do about my problem, and that I should try make calls when the network signal is strong... unbelievable!!! People call me and I don't even get a message from 121 to say that I have voice messages, SMS's get delivered long after they have been sent. What on earth is going on here???!!!
