I have bought a nokia CS -19 3G modem. First of all I have asked the sales agent if it works on all computers operating systems & he assured me that it does as I'm running Linux on my PC. I have asked this because I know the problems with compactibility with other devices on my PC. When I've tested the modem it doesn't work on my PC I had to wait for a friend whos a linux dministrator who came from joburg to help install the modem because I was assured it works on linux. I went back to the store to tell them it doesn't work on my linux machine. to my surprise they sales assistant told me they have received a document recently stating that it doesn't work on all OS that was after a month.
I do not understand a company like CellC sells products before they test them. Now I'm sitting with a modem that doesnt work on my OS & they refuse to take it back what am I suppose to sit and do with it because it's your sales assistant that gave me the incorrect information & the product was obviously not tested.
Please look into the matter & provide refund.
