Outstanding settlement

I had a contract 4 or 5 years back, i got fed up with the service along the way & i threw away the SIM card. Auto page debited on my account until they gave me a call that our contract is due & would i like to Upgrade as i paid them well & i said NO.

Today i receive a call from their call centre telling me i still have an outstanding of R700.Why they never called or sent me a letter back then.
