I ordered an iphone 5 on 28 December 2012 (Ref#: SPI002763604). I was told it would take between 7-14 calendar days to be delivered. On 2 January 2013 I received a SMS saying that my order has been processed.
The 7-14 day timeframe has long since passed but I still have no phone. On numerous occassions I attempted to contact Cell C via SMS, email, via the phone. I finally managed to get through to the Call Centre on 10 January to ask for an update -- no response yet to my email or SMS. I was told that the phone is out of stock and they can't give me an estimated date of delivery. How is this possible? Am I suppose to patiently wait and wait. Also, why do I have to contact them to get an update despite the phone not being delivered within their own timeframe. Cell C, learn to manage your customers' expectations and most importantly keep them updated!!! I'm seriously considering going back to MTN, where I didn't experience this kind of service.
