Over the past few weeks, I've noticed a degradation in the quality of internet access I'm receiving from Cell C even though it shows a strong HSDPA connection. Lately I'm getting no throughput at all when I try. This has affected me in Glenhazel area as well as in Houghton. As an aside, when I'm in the Sandton area, my phone tells me I'm roaming. I have just logged a call with Cell C's technical department... but I doubt my call will yield any fruitful results. I am writing this report on HelloPeter to make sure that others know about the network issues I've been having, and that this statistic is not just swept under the carpet and filed as "challenges" - which seems to be the buzzword at customer services at the moment.
