Hi there
I am writting on behalf of my parent who life on a farm in Paulpietersburg (KZN) area.
For most of the time they don't have Telkom Lines - I will say for 1 week per month and then it is off again.
Even if they complain about this - nothing gets done about the Monthly Invoice - Seing that they live so far from town their only way of doing business is by using their phones.
Their cell phone reception isn't very good so they can't just use cell phones everywhere.
Could they please fix this problem - apparently they need to put a new switch in - but this doesn't happen.
How can you pay R500 per month and have no use of it???
or will they credit the people for the time the lines are out of order.
Even if they report it is can take up to a week or longer before some one will come and fix it and then it will last for a few days (if so) and be out of order again.
