No reponse to email query - no update

My landline went down on Easter Sunday it was reported on the 2nd of April and i received an sms with report number 25CRK020413, I'm deaf so a friend reported it for me, they told her that the fibre optic cable is damaged and they were fixing it. 10 days later and still not fixed, 3 phone calls to Telkom they repeat that the fibre optic cable is damaged and no timeframe for when it will be fixed. I've sent emails to their customer service and never get a reply!! I need internet access to earn a living, without it i am unable to earn money. I'm currently using a stick wireless modem which is so slow i cant do research. and today has cost me an extra R319 for mtn usage which is useless. is Telkom going to refund me the R319 plus the prorata non usage of a landline that i've paid for and not been able to use.
