The account used for debit orders was changed from a savings account to a Cheque account. All debit orders on the old account were transferred to the new account at the bank. Cell C was returned. After numerous calls to update the banking details with no success my lines were suspended. I had to deposit the cash into Cell C banking account from October. In Novemeber an incorrect reference no was used and I had to log a dispute and fax the deposit slip. I faxed it to the no received but Cell C did not get it. I went into the Cell C branch and they faxed it twice. Still Cell C did not get it. My lines were then suspended. In February I received a call from Cell C accounts. First the consultant could not give me the correct outstanding balance on my account. After i explained my story, he checked on the system and saw the attempts to update the banking details. I emailed the deposit slip and it was allocated. I received a statement for R1361. I asked Cell C to fix my free minute balance before I could pay the balance. No answer. My lines have again been suspended. My new balance has escalated to R4000 plus. I have been a customer of Cell C for many years. I cannot wait to cancel!
