I ordered a new cell c contract over the phone at the end of March. I was told that the phone will be delivered in 10 working days. I phoned Cell C today to follow up on the expected delivery date, and was told that the phone was out of stock and on back order, and I can expect delivery in 4-5 weeks. 4-5 WEEKS??? This is really pathetic. When people order phones they cannot wait that long. There is a reason they need a contract at that moment and people expect promises to be delivered. I am very disappointed in the response from Cell C. How in the world can you provide a contract and then not have stock. This is shocking to say the least. And your call center is also pathetic. I have phoned the 084 145 number and selected option 2 MANY times and no one ever picks up. I always get the "EISH" message. Seriously? At this moment I would not recommend anyone to Cell C because from all the negative reviews on hello peter at the moment, it seems that I will be waiting for a long time.
