I migrated from Vodacom to 8ta, hoping to find a wider array of offerings and better service. However my Iphone 5 is unable to send standard text messages (sms). This is a basic feature and nobody at 8ta is able to advise. Its has been escalated to the 8ta device testing team, it has been 3 weeks no feedback.
Its definitely an 8ta Iphone 5 issue, as this issue is present on more than one Iphone 5, and its not present when another networks sim card is used.
It makes one nervous to think the skills to sort out this is not available. If this is not resolved I will have to consult the CPA.
