I took out a 399 contract with mtn in sept 2012. Called the contact centre and spoke to several agents..cust care and technical to complain i was not able to use the phone due to that i cannot do anything on the phone without it timing out and giving the error msg infortunately the app has stopped..this happens when on calls as well. I cannot even edit a picture on the phone. One agent said it was a issue of my contract simcard not being a 3g sim and id have to pay to get a 3g one ..really???next agent advised it was due to something they had to rewet on their side and shud reboot the phone wich i did and ddnt help..lastlt was told via email to take the phone to the nearest repair centre..that is wer the phone is now. I left the phone and was told to fetch it in 3hrs. When i called to confirm should i fetch, was told iv to pay R1300 for them to proceed with eepairs as mtn "cannot repair the pgone as it has a scratch on the screen and shud fetch the phone as they wont repair if i wont pay. The device is only 6 months with me and under 2year warranty but shud pay for a repair. Its sad to receive such incompetency and bad service from a company this big.i want my money back from mtn
