Telkom is a. Misleading advertising by one of their agents that they are protecting.
I was in Checkers Hyper Constantia Kloof around February last year (2012) when i was confronted by one of two Telkom's agents, he told me that they were running a promotion for a package whereby you get free Telkom to Telkom in the evenings and weekends. I asked him repeatedly about line rental fees because i was never interested and he insisted that there were no fees then he gave me a form to write my name and address. the following month a line was installed. I used the phone carefully, trying to avoid surprises. A bill came whereby my usage was R33, then the rest was line rental etc totaling over R300. I complained and even requested a line to be suspended. Since then i battled with a customer care transferring me from pillar to post. They referred me to their attorneys and i disputed and never heard a word again from them.
A week ago i received an sms, this time, from different attorneys threatening me of being blacklisted.
UNTIL TODAY, if i request that they have that agent on a conference call to explain his side, it's IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HIM.
