I went into MTN Northgate Service Centre in December to cancel my contract and filled in some forms and told it would be cancelled and turned into a pay as you go.
i went back beginning of January and it was not cancelled. They said that the forms could not be found and in the meantime the contract was now owing ZAR1881.03 and told to pay. After much protest and seeing the manager I paid. To my dismay the phone was blocked.
on the 28th of January I went in to see why it was blocked and they said I owed a further ZAR415 because of their monthend dates. I paid again. I was made to write another letter to cancel the contract and handed it to Thoko in the store.
Yesterday to my horror I got statements of the same contract and it has not been cancelled. HOW DO I CANCEL AND NOT BE INDEBTED TO MTN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! I AM NOW RETRENCHED AND THEY CANNOT KEEP MILIKNG ME DRY LIKE THIS. THE MANAGER ALL HE DID AWS BLAME HEAD OFFICE AND SAID I MUST UNDERSTAND THEIR PROBLEM. if only his problem did not involve my much needed money.
