I had purchased a 24 month contract for 1 Gig data in Jan 2013. I received the sim card and had inserted in laptop and was happy that it was working. I received welcome sms from vodacom and used the internet. I used the internet on 28th January and again on 29th January. When I registered this number online on 31 January, I found that I am already billed for R316. I logged on to view data info and found that I had received pro rata data which was never communicated to me. Furthermore I found the data bundle was finished on the 28January, but it allowed me to log on the 29 January. I find this unaccepable as I must now pay for this usage which was never allocated to me. to me it seems that Vodacom had wanted me to utilize internet and be charged these high rates intentionally. After raising this complaint, the very same occured the next month. I was promised feedback but to date this issue has not been resolved. Can someone please assist me. My sim card number relating to the above is 0820979631.
