I took my modem in to be replaced on the advice of a telkom technician. I got to the pay counter and recieved a befor opened box, thought that the attendat opened the box just before I came, Took it back to the office and tried to power it up. It did not power up. out of the box it was not in a plastic wrapper nor was it covered with shrink wrap. Went back to Telkom Centurion. Got a new unopened box this time around. was told by Phuti that she opened the previous box in front of me and that it was a new modem? So either Telkom gives out old used modems or the attendant is at fault but unwilling to act on it. As this wasted several hours of my time I am invoicing for my time.
