I logged a bill dispute with MTN 22 Aug 2012 for data charges. They responded 21 Sep 2012 with
1) That this only includes web sites (HTTP) and that any traffic such as VoIP, Bit Torrent, etc. are not included. Why not?

2) The volume per web site is not included (we do not record this). Yet I am charged for it?
3) The correct volume is indicated on your itemized per session. Where is this indicated?
4) Microsoft updates including any other auto update will be billed accordingly. These updates, if any will most certainly not push my account up over R2000
5) The said charges are correct and valid. There is still NO proof that these charges are valid

I responded with comments next to each point. Up to date I have not received any response. Today I received a call from a company VVM stating that my account has been handed over and that I now owe over R12000 payable within 7 days.
I have paid my normal installments of R819 until my phone account was also cut. And then I resumed payment again 01/03/2013. Now I am expected to pay R4000 to reconnect or face consequences.
So they can make you pay for usage that cannot be proven.
