They don't have a clue what is going on

I have had my account handed over to JBA attorneys by Vodacom, which I fully understand as the account was in arrears. I made an arrangement with the attorneys to pay R500 per month on the 20th each month (which I have done now for the last 18 months).
According to my records the account should be paid off more or less by now (taking into account the attorney costs etc).
For the last 3-4 month I have been receiving calls from VVM saying that my account is in arrears and that they are going to take further steps.

Now I went into Vodacom to ask how much I still owe on my account, they can see my account, but it is blank as if there never was an account (the person who helped me said that it might be because I do not owe anything anymore). I then phoned JBA attorneys who first contacted me, all they can tell me is that the account has been taken away from them (even though I still pay them every month). VVM tell me that they see I have made a payment of R600 on 15/02 which I never did and that they will follow up on my account. It is nearly a month later and still not have I heard anything back from VVM except for a SMS threatening me again.

I need answers ASAP!!!
