Our family business has just branched a section of our business to a new premises in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. We had announced our "Grand opening" to the public and were exited to start trading.
The problem is that nobody can reach us via phone or email because our telkom line simply stopped working last week Wednesday. Frankly, I am embarrassed that our telephone number and email address has been made public but we are not able to receive orders or work on our server. We are unable to do business and have rent to pay.
We contact telkom everyday with our reference number looking for answers to no avail. Nobody is helping us and it has become an internal blame game among telkom technicians. Management has proved to be very incompetent and nobody can tell me when our problem will be resolved all they say is that the problem is "underground" and that the line is faulty.
We have just opened and are already getting a bad name in the industry due to the incompetence and lack of common courtesy of Telcom, one of South Africa's biggest Monopolies.
